PERSONAL TRAINER (*Full-time and Part-time Opportunities)

Job Description

Britt4Fit is seeking to expand their team with highly motivated and experienced personal trainers who specialize in functional movement and strength training. A successful candidate will play a vital role in helping clients achieve their fitness goals through personalized training programs, while helping our gym continue its growth goals. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one-on-one, partner, and group training sessions, focusing on holistic training techniques.
  • Assess clients’ fitness levels and limitations to apply them to their training programs
  • Instruct clients on proper exercise techniques, ensuring safety and effectiveness
  • Provide ongoing encouragement, motivation, and education to clients, promoting a positive training experience
  • Handle client management tasks, including scheduling, communication, renewals, and documentation.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and innovations, proposing new ideas to enhance business operations
  • Contribute to and participate in Britt4Fit community events
  • Oversee facility maintenance and equipment upkeep

Requirements:

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective client engagement
  • Flexible work hours; Britt4Fit is looking to expand its client available hours into early morning, evening, and/or weekends
  • Strong knowledge of functional movement principles and strength training techniques
  • Organizational skills to handle multiple clients and customer care responsibilities
  • Adaptability in designing training programs to suit individual client needs
  • Capable of delivering single, partner, and group sessions through versatile modalities, including in-person and video chat platforms
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining client records

Experience:

  • At least one to three years of experience as a personal trainer, with a foundational understanding of functional movement and holistic training
  • This role is suited for individuals who already have a foundational level of experience within a fitness facility

Education and Certification:

  • Nationally recognized personal training certification (e.g., NSCA, NASM, ACSM, ASFA).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Specialty Certification (CAFS, GFS, TPI, etc.) (preferred)
